I have got to the point where I would like to have a website to display my photos on line. I'm looking for recommendations to a fairly user friendly site with the ability to upload multiple images in one go. My partner has a website built on Weebly but apparently you can't upload multiple images at once. I don't need e-commerce at this point.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

I just use Wordpress with its many templates. Easy, and fairly good media handling. I didn't write a single line of code for mine, see signature link.

I tested wix, squarespace, smugmug and Wordpress.

Settled on wix in the end as I thought the interface worked best and they have some great templates. I was after a very simple and elegant design for the website which I use to display photos for friends and family.

I recommend you do the free 14 day trials on as many as you can and settle on the one which works best for you. I found the pricing packages fairly similar for all sites for the basic package, so that was never a factor for me.

Link in my sig and good luck...

One thing I would watch out for is the ability to leave such bespoke hosting providers and take your site with you someone else for your hosting needs. Just a thought.

Use your creative skills with WYSIWYG Webbuilder, If you want to do some coding then you can but it is very straight forward to use and keeps getting update on a regular basis and allows plugins which there is a lot on the companies website as well as third party ones.

There is a trial version and the only difference is you get webbuilder icon at the bottom of every page.
