Hey guys,

I'm in the process of building my website at the moment and im finding it really hard to building my gallery in flash! So i've got a couple of questions.. Is there any easy 'do it for you' builder available. And if I do make my gallery in flash how can I keep my photos up to date without having to keep re-doing my picture libary in my flash?

I am a website noob so yeahh...!

This is my site so far:

www.JakePhotography.co.uk

And this is the actual site that i'm building at the moment:

And what I want is to have the top bar as links to the different types of photography I do and each one you click it goes to a different gallery.

I'm also having issues putting the flash into the page and the header moving around! It comes up in Dreamweaver fine but once I preview it it moves the header to the bottom of the page.

Any advice or anything?

I gave up trying to do things myself and now use Zenfolio. You can either embed bits into your own site (I believe) or use their templates and make your life really easy. My site is in the link below if you want to take a look.

The best thing (for me) is the easy and professional looking ordering system.

Have you considered using Wordpress? So much great support online, you can do anything with it as long as you have the time.

I use Wordpress for my blog, which it is great for, however all the gallery options seem a bit rubbish.

I'd also suggest using a hosting service such as Photoshelter, I was a Flash developer in my day job and find the gallery services much better than doing your own thing.

I stick by my previous answer.
If you answer my questions you might get some useful help, not to mention being able to help yourself properly.
