Hopefully not too late to get in for week 2.
Ok, after my difficult loach from last week, here is something I always loved. Being the first to open a NEW jar of coffee. Hearing the "phott" as the spoon breaks the seal, and smelling the aroma.

Great idea, Id like to see the spoon and foil in focus as apposed to the label, by that is just my opinion, what a great idea. Was the spoon hand held or strung??

Yeah, was playing with my newish 24-70 L2.8 lens, so ended up with the lens wide open!!
I was hand holding the spoons, and the camera, so the focus shifted onto the label. Still, live and learn... The week 3 theme I need to use a tripod, so hopefully it will be a bit better.

Agree, the first sniff of a fresh open jar or pack of coffee is brill!!

Have to agree with the focus as mentioned previously.

Otherwise a good image.
