Hi

Can anyone recommend web gallery software that I can use on my website, please? I'm not particularly after anything fancy - just a few sub-galleries and descriptions. Coppermine is one I'm vaguely aware of but not used at all.

Cheers

Google "JAlbum", it's free, has loads of differnt skins and is easily customisable.

I'm another big fan of JAlbum, I use it on a couple of sites I manage. You can use it 'as is' or drop it into the middle of your own webpage without too much fuss (I'm not very adept at all at html and I've managed it!).

Thanks for all your feedback - I've had a play with JAlbum and will go with that for now.

I've used porta and webalbum generator so far, the former is sharper and overall better of the two. About to try jalbum with a ordering system I'd like to implement.

Missed this morning it seems. I quite like Coppermine, though maybe it isnt the easiest to customize, but seems to work well :)

It's actually the web server side that I was a little unsure about. Having already toasted my forums once, I decided not to try and load a whole load of software on the server again! JAlbum creates the pages locally and then they can simply be uploaded. It's not dynamic, but then I'll only be updating once in a blue moon so that's no problem.
