Evening All!

I have a quick question - my sister is going on a mega year-long trip exploring North America, South America, NZ, Australia and the Far East (no - I'm not jealous.......much!). They're back-packing, so don't have the space to carry a laptop, but are taking a camera, so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for any on-line sites where you can upload pics to for storage?

I'm thinking not Flickr, cos they'll want to preserve as much info as possible, and to be able to download them back to the hard-drive on their return (or we can download them as they go).

I'm a bit lost for ideas, but don't want them to carry loads of full CF cards "just in case" !! Any suggestions would be welcome!

Thanks
Kristy

Thanks Jacob - will check it out!

For comparison, are there any other suggestions from anyone else?

Cheers!

A Flickr Pro account gives you :

What do I get with a Pro account?

When you upgrade to a Pro account for just US$24.95 a year (or R$45.90 if you’re in Brazil ) you get all this:

  • Unlimited photo uploads (20MB per photo)
  • Unlimited video uploads (90 seconds max, 500MB per video)
  • The ability to show HD Video
  • Unlimited storage
  • Unlimited bandwidth
  • Archiving of high-resolution original images
  • The ability to replace a photo
  • Post any of your photos or videos in up to 60 group pools
  • Ad-free browsing and sharing
  • View count and referrer statistics
.........

Although I must admit to not finding Flickr very intuitive.
