Web developers

I have an idea for a new social style website for my clients......hard to describe at the moment but it is in my head.......I just need to find someone who could take my idea and develop it into an internet platform...... where would you find someone who may be able to do this? I have used web development companies before for other projects but I have found them to be lack lustre and over priced....well over priced for what I expected to get and the promises they made......all suggestions welcome and if you can recommend a certain company all the better...thanks in advance

Depends on your budget though really. If you want a professional job and ongoing support you're going to have to pay a decent sum for it. Just picking keywords like 'platform' and 'social' out of your description, if I was freelancing I would put a price of 5K GBP minimum for the development work, plus more for support, hosting etc.

Would depend on a more detailed spec though really.

That not as bad as i thought...I once paid that to a complete waster for a p*** poor ecommerce website....good to know so that I can add that to the budget to see if it is viable....Thanks
