Not sure whether to post this here or in the forum discussion, so have posted in both (sorry):
Hello all,
I've just joined this forum as I thought I'd start trying to get involved in the photography community a little more. I have been photographing the weather now for the last 3 years or so - mainly in America, where the weather tends to be a little more exciting than in the UK! I noticed that there wasn't a specific forum set up for Weather photos and wondered if anyone thought this might be a good idea? We could discuss why certain atmospheric conditions may have existed and could also help each other with tips and tricks in regards to how best to shoot lightning, capture features in low lit conditions - that kind of thing?
I studied meteorology at uni last year and would be more than happy to help out with what certain cloud features may be etc.
