We transfer files help

After having a bunch of negatives scanned ( and a good job done ) the photographic shop sent the download link to my computer, however the We transfer link wont open ???.
My system is Linux based, is there a problem with We transfer or the Linux system, does anyone have experience of We transfer,

I'm using windows, rather than Linux, but never had any issues with the link from WeTransfer.
On Windows the link opens a page in my browser, which then downloads a zip file with the contents in.
Is your email client blocking links in emails?
Do you need to manually copy the link from the email and paste it into your browser?
 
Many thanks for the reply , spent ages trying to work this out .
Your suggestion of a manual copy of link is where the penny dropped,
Highlighted the link in the email and right clicked then selected " open link in a new / private window " Bingo it opens.
Always learning something new is good , Thanks.
