WD HD Not working

My secondary back up drive, A WD My Book 2tb isnt being shown on my laptop, It dings when plugged, Whizzes (as in noise), Even shown in devices and upto date firmware and working correctly, Proplem is the icon isnt showing in "my computer" for me to access the drive.

Any help please
 
May possibly be a conflict with drive letter. Try altering the drive letter via disk management.
 
Wasnt allocated a drive, Done the research and went ahead with a "simple..... something or other", Basically formatted drive and now working albeit empty, No biggy as it was my 2nd copy of current HD, Will load it back up over night. Different story if it was my only copy, Thanks
 
My one bricked. The warranty replacement works fine, but annoying
