WB with snow scenes

Hi all.
I am struggling to get something straight out of the camera in my snow scenes. The snow is either bluey white or grey white. I am sure its something to do with my white balance (setting on auto) so wondered what those of you use on your WB setting to capture a nice white snow scene.

I know i can alter in photoshop but was hoping to get more out of my manual settings.

Snow is pretty white, but of course it reflects the color of the sky, which often ends up making it blue. In fact, it can sometimes reach as much as 18000K, a long long way from the typical 5000K...

Your best bet is to set a custom white balance before taking the shot.

I usually add about +1-2 stops
