Waves in printing

I have noticed that i have waves acrossed my home prints, nothing to do with the printing side, i beleive it might well be in the paper source.
They seem to be really noticable when framed. I am not using a well known paper such as epson etc.

Has any experienced the same, could it be the quality of paper, any thoughts.

I suspect its a pressure thing....

If there is not a overall even pressure on the back of the print you'll see wave like ridges where the print touches the glass and where it doesn't. Try adding some additional packing to the rear of the print. Something with a bit of give is ideal, maybe foam or even a piece of corrugated card may help. Not too thick or you'll crack the frame

Make sure you cut it to the size of the frame rather than the print

The waves are not caused by the ink, so its hard to post, its caused when placed in the frame.
I have tried some packing it works but not completly, funly enough i have just found some better brand named print paper (Kodak), printed one off and found it to be 100% better.
so i kinda feel i have answered my own question..

The answer may be to use a heavier weight paper, I think the Kodak is around 250g/m

Could be the answer is in the make, i am already using 250g, but on this cheaper paer it don't cut the ice..
