I've searched the forums and read what people have offered up in terms of where to go to buy them and what companies to use.

What I'm after now is some reviews/feedback from people who have used them on a DSLR.

I'm planning on getting into the water with my camera (Canon 1D Mark 2) to photograph my friends (and them to photograph me) but has anyone used a DSLR this size in one of the EWA marine bags or anything else that's similar?

I don't want to buy a smaller camera whether it be compact or bridge and a housing for that. I want my DSLR in the water with my lens and 8.5fps.

Any feedback on these type of items/camera combo would be appreciated.

Hi,

I've used the aqua PAC bags and its great, no chance the one I have would fit my 1d in but it does do the job.

While at uni I also used an ewa bag with a camcorder, that one was good but the plastic was stiffer and after a while it actually split (although I glued it and continued to use it)

I use aqua PAC bags for kayaking as well and wouldn't use any other brand now

I know jonathanryan has used a d3 in a Ewa bag. Pm him to point this thread out to him

Can't recommend any particular housings or brands but Cameras Underwater seem to be the go-to experts for them.
