Hi can anyone recommend a decent software for this please..

Do you use Lightroom...? if so, there's an option to include your watermark included, it's termed the 'Identity Plate' and can be used as a watermark.

Alternatively, Aperture also has a watermark feature, and finally I'd suggest using Photoshop to create a transparent PNG, then add that to any images you require a watermark on - using a droplet/action.

Hope this helps Stuart.

Thanks for the reply John,I use nikon capture nx so unable to do in that..seen one called drop watermark which looks simple enough has any one used this at all?

No problem Stuart.

"Drop Watermark" may be a Photshop plug-in or droplet. Do you have Photoshop...?

Also - are you on a PC or Mac?

I'm using a pc.Think I've sorted one out now looks just what I need.

just downloaded it and will have a play later..thanks for the link!

Cool! I can't help with using this as (1) I don't own a copy and (2) it isn't available for Mac. However, I have read all over the place that it is an excellent free image manipulation app that does much of what Photoshop does.

Good luck.

Well been playing with the photowatermark pro one and its a great piece of kit!..can insert images and your own logo etc..very versatile.

I had beren looking for software to do this as well. I then got pointed in the direction of Watermark Factory 2

I think I paid about $35 USD for it. dam good straight forward with a load of extra options. Basically it does what it says on the tin.
Example below.

I know this an old thread but I've not been a member that long, so I thought I'd share an open source solution that I forund when we were hunting for a solution to add watermarks to the gig pics we take for our alternative music site.
Visualizer Photo Resize

Yes it's for resizing, but it also can add watermarks, copyright, compression and other options too. best thing is it's FREE. It does reduce the quality a little but for general photos, that really high quality is not the main need it a great find.
