Hi all

I've done a few searches and read a few threads on watermarking but not found what I'm actually looking for.

Not that it's something I'll need to be doing for a while, I'm just wanting to know how it's done? Can a batch of pictures be watermarked? Do you individualy watermark? Is there software designed to make the process easier?

Cheers

John

i do that in cs2, how ever i too would love to have an auto function, as thats time consuming if your doing say 200 pics.

Record it as an action and apply it to folders :)

Sorry to dig out such an old thread, but Ive been trying to work this one myself..

Batch 'boardering' and 'watermarking'...

For a start, can the "record it as an action" be done in Photoshop elements?! I must learn this technique, as doing it all manually is not only boring but very time consuming.

Many thanks.:)

I tried that, but the images were different sizes and it fecked everything up!!

I guess if they were all the same size you would be ok... but you must spend the time checking first! :(

There is a little programme called jpgcompressor, that contains an excellent watermark utility, and another for adding simple borders. It remembers the actions too, so that every time you load a pic, it applies a border, and adds the watermark.

It's free, but in German, though once loaded, you can change the language to English. There are loads of links if you gooooooogle it.
