Hi

Does anyone know if there is a way to put a watermark on a photo taken, using elements or Canon's software

Cheers

Try Youtube, there's loads of tutorials on there for Elements.

I found sticking it under a cold tap works best :D

there is a bit of software called visual watermark its £20 but its flipping great, you can use their sample watermarks or add your own with logo etc, really easy to use

Hope this helps

I use visual and find it really good. Worth the £20 anyway!

Thanks, will look into it aswell, have found some tutorials on using Photoshop elements to place one, but limited with what you can do with it.

I asked this same question a few days ago and was given this one HERE and found it to be the easiest to follow tutorial. And it works great.

Thanks, great tutorial, but think it's only for Photoshop and not Elements :(

Thanks for posting this link - Works well in Photoshop and no need to purchase a separate piece of software

I used to use watermark Factory II but started to get the impression the image quality degraded once I'd run my pics thru it. You can try it free for 30 days and it might actually just be my eyes lying to me.

Is there any way of doing it in GIMP? Have just downloaded it, and would like to be able to add a little watermark.
Thanks
