Watermark!

Hope this is the right place to ask such question, wasn't sure where to ask!
What software/way do people watermark their photograph's? Been having problems recently with people attempting to crop my watermark out
 
Depends on how many photos you are editing? if its just 1 or then photoshop but if there is loads i did use to use Faststone and its free.

I wouldn't see that as a problem, so long as they were prepared to pay for the use of your images.
So it's invoicing software you need here to fix this problem - any of which, I think you will find, will work really well ;)

The problem is that any watermark that doesn't obscure the image to the point of making it virtually un-viewable can be removed one way or another (if you have the time and skill) even something like this (see pic) which looks horrible can be removed if you have the time, it will put off the average person, but if someones keen enough to pinch your pic they will.

Where are you seeing that they are trying to crop it out? I get this a lot on Facebook, report the image to Facebook, they are pretty good at getting them removed if it belongs to you.

you say that but i have reported 3 of my images twice now and nothing has been done
 
Im talking batch to be honest, though will have a look at photoshop and see what i can do.
The problem was they weren't willing to pay for my photos, they didn't ask or say and just decided to take them. Yes it was on facebook, i removed them all now. But started again and the watermark is accross the middle now.
Lol i wouldn't pay for my photos, im no professional, but i don't like my photos being passed off as someone elses!
I dont think people would be that determined to remove the watermark from the middle, theyre not that good :-)

Don't you believe it, I had a guy come to me with a small pattern picture with about 15 watermarks right across it, he asked if I could remove them for him, you could buy the thing for about £3 unwatermarked, I told him to buy it, but I found out later he spent about 5 hours removing them (badly) before he used it for his wedding invitations. Crazy! :bang:
 
I have to mention that I was asked to put someone else s watermark onto an image.

Go figure!!
