I Spent a good part of the day trying to photography water droplets. I had read the tutorial on here re using sink etc. some of them are okay and I know I just need to keep practicing but my question is this-
If i am taking photos using sink and tap dripping set up, how can I take photos that are on my level rather than looking down on them?

Look in tutorial section. I'm sure there is "how to" in there somewhere.

You could put a piece of wood or something across the sink and put a clear bowl or tray on the wood. That'd probably work.

do you mean like this or flatter?

I look down a bit so I capture the ripples but if you want the drip only then you'll also need to think about the background. Some suggestions:

1. Use a tripod
2. Use a remote release
3. Use a flash (in camera or otherwise), its the flash that "freezes" the droplet
4. Use camera in manual and pre focus. If you live view its easy, I use a ruler mimicing the droplets flight path and manually focus on the rulers markings
5. Use a pippette
6. Just take loads of images, use camera screen to identfy potential keepers and delete no-hopers

I think in 15-30 minutes you will have several good images. Once you are OK with this progress to considering othere lelements e.g. milk not water, coloured water, coloured light

I'm no expert but this is what I found worked well for me

Good luck

Thanks for all your replies.

Maybe my bowl was too deep- does it help if dish/tray is shallow? Also wasn't using a tripod - so need to give that a go too. Can feel I am going to get addicted :)
