Ah, they just don't make 'em like those any more. Along with The Goodies, Monty Python and Benny Hill.
It really had hammered home my point about today's telly showing nothing but endless "reality show" tripe.
As a side thought, don't you think Vic Reeves is starting to look more uncannily like Morecambe? :eek:
 
There's something about M&W which has given me some thought in recent years. I used to watch it in the 60s and clearly remember the sketches they used to do with both of them sharing a double bed. As a child I thought nothing of it - just two friends sleeping in the same bed. But it's strange that adults didn't give it any thought either. There was never any suggestion of anything other than companionship. How times have changed.
 
Just brought a dvd of Morecambe & Wise's Christmas shows. Roll on watching Andre Preview again!!! I'm playing all the right notes but not necessairly in the right order!!!
