Just recently seen this too.

I love how the punks friend is so hyped up and eager for the old guy to have his ass handed to him... and it ends up with his mate bloodied and asking for an ambulance.

In the vernacular, MON THE AULD YIN!

Funny video, nice top the old boy is wearing..not your average pensioner Im surprised some of the mothers on the bus didnt jump the old fella. Lol

some of you folks have a wicked sense of humour! :)

At the end: "Clean and safe. Do your part."

Note... the white guy is been racist and is also well known in the town for been a bit mentally distrubured and having been dealt with officially by the police.

I was discussing this video else where when this came out - in that respect I dont think its appropriate.

How this white guy was a racist?? He defended himself, he got punched first?? Its the black guy who is acting like a racist punk, and clearly he got what he deserved.

Did you even listen to the audio?

His (The punk) friend shouting out "Say it again PINKIE" and then "Beat his white ass"... now, do you want to jump off your do goody soap box and enjoy the viedo for what it is.. a young fool getting his comeuppance from an OAP... or are you only interested in playing race cards?

He looks a fit old b****r, nice combination of punches.

I think it says an awful lot about you, if you actually think its funny.

Quite a lot of people find it funny.

Yes it does say something about them. It says we're sick of seeing reports of scum picking on unfortunate souls, and its nice to see someone get their own back.

Unfortunately it takes all sorts, im happy to find it funny, i live in the real world and have seen too much of the Liberal attitude that has done its bit to ruin our society.. the PC brigade and bleeding hearts that say even Child molesters and Muggers have 'Rights'..

If anything, they may well BOTH be racist.. but the thug got put in his place.. and hopefully other people including pensioners in his area will be a little safer, he will think twice about his aggressive nature before he unleashes it.. as pathetic as it was!! lol..

OWNED!!!

Well I think it's funny and I'll tell you why. Two weeks ago I was on the Underground and had a scrote walk down the car to tell me to be quiet or he was going to "cut me up". Now I don't give a flying rat's arse, but I was with a female colleague at the time and she was really shaken by the situation.

Just before xmas, I was again 'intimidated' by another scrote but I was on my own and had no qualms about standing up to him. He soon backed down and headed off only to be stopped by an off duty ploiceman. As he found out what was going on, a young lady came up and complained about the man's behaviour towards her.

That's 2 unprovoked instances in the space of 3 months in a city I don't even live in. There's a lot of this intimidation going around and I think it's hilarious when the scum who try to scare and threaten others to make up for their own self esteem issues get the tables turned on them.

According to witnesses, including Iyanna Washington, the college student who recorded the fight, the white man, who was identified by The Oakland Tribune as 67-year-old Thomas Bruso, taunted the younger black man and asked him to shine his shoes. "The white guy was asking the black guy for a shoeshine," Washington told CBS. "And I guess the black guy took it as a racist comment, like, 'Why's a black guy have to spit shine your shoes?'"

Then, another video emerged. Bruso, the older man, had been featured in a hit YouTube video before, when he was arrested at an Oakland A's baseball game in August for disorderly conduct and police used a Taser on him. "This guy is epic," one commenter said.

/Off soap box....

Is it one of those girls saying to go through old guys s...t (videorecording his bag after it was taken)? Great witness :)

good on the old fella, gave the gobsshoite his comeuppance!

What makes me laugh, Fraggle, is that I specifically recall when we were discussing this video on the clipper the other night, that it would only take a little while before at least one person came along. I mean seriously. It's a video on the internet!

Dear oh dear.

What's more, is that it even says on the thread title, AND in the op as the video is behind a link! Searching for an argument like this is about as immature as the idiot in this video.

To be fair, none of you were there and dont know the whole situation from before the recording started.

For all you know, the young black lad may well have gotten on the bus and as he walked past the older chap gotten a racist comment from him. In my experiance, alot of people from around that generation (before you jump on me, reread it - ALOT not ALL) and older are passively racist and do not even realise they are doing it, or fail to see whats wrong with it. Especially when the older chap starts defending himself from being called a racist, Ive noticed its the people defending themselves when accused are normally racist to a varying degree, as someone who is completely unracist will never ever give rise to an opportunity to be accused of being racist, but those are few and far between.

I feel also that the young black lad is also being heavily stereotyped, hes black, hes young, he gets into a fight, perhaps his clothing(?) therefore he is a thug. Anyone can end up in a fight, no matter what background, colour or age they are. That leaves the other two, hes black and hes young. Being young doesnt mean your a thug, despite what the papers believe, im 20, I dont carry knives with me, I dont have a glock in my back pocket or a sawn off shotgun shoved down my trouser leg. I dont go around pushing over old grannies or go shopping for lots of lovely things with no money. His clothing, anyone who thinks he is dressed like a thug needs to go to a bad part of town and go say hi to some shady looking people. Hes cleanly dressed, well presented (for a social outing with a friend), hes not trying to conceal any part of himself or his identity. He has dressed himself without fear of being caught for doing something wrong. That leaves the last one, hes black, yeah, great logic, hes black therefore hes a thug. I suppose he also has a humvee with a shotgun in the boot and a hydroponics lab in his bedroom.

Im not trying to defend the black lad, but if you listen to the audio - yes his stupid friend is getting excited and making racial slurs but the lad doesnt say anything like that at all. Yes he tells the older guy to go away, because he is p**sed off and then starts trying to look away, obvious body language of he doesnt want anymore confrontation. But when the older guy moves, and the black lad raises and starts shouting back at what ever the older guy says as hes moving (poor audio) he sits down again. You can see he only really gets hyped up and wants to do something about it is when the older guy starts saying something from the front of the bus, but due to the poor audio and the other passengers you cant hear it. For all you know he could of said something along the lines of - "stupid f****ng n****s need to f*** off back home". He just got riled up too far and made the first move, young lad, hot headed and racism (even its not from my example, the mention of asking for a shoe shine is still going to be fresh in his mind) always gets to people in some way, shape or form, what do you expect? There again at the end of the day, the older chap should have more sense in his many more years experiance to walk away from a confrontation, but on the flipside, for all we know it was the black lad who started the argument.

If anything they are both at fault, the younger lad should of known to let it go, and the older guy who is mentioned for being known for his mental problems and run ins with police should not have been taunting him trying to get a response whether he knew he was doing it or not.

I know its a bit long winded, but in my opinion it is extremely unfair and unjust to draw up opinions as to whos fault it was and who deserved what when you do not know all of the contributing factors leading up to the fight. What ive said is more than open to being discussed, after all its a forum, however if its not constructive criticism or general rudeness, please, hit home at the top. As I imagine im going to have some hot headed unconstructive reponses to this :|

You guys do know the "young" black guy was a convicted criminal, and also 50 years old?

He is not 50, look at him. If he is he uses alot of skin creams. He says he is, but I imagine hes just being mouthy. Wheres this info from about him being a convicted criminal?

The interview with EBM states he was sent back to jail. And of course he looks old, I can see that.

In one Youtube video titled "Epic Beard Man- Interview", Bruso claims the other man was arrested for violating parole for a murder after doing 18 years in a penitentiary and that he was going back to prison for armed robbery, assault and battery and possessing a knife while on parole. In the video he claims, "... I got a murderer off the streets, I feel good about that...". [13]

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AC_Transit_Bus_fight#Thomas_Bruso

I doubt a 20 year old did 18 years in prison beforehand...

The thing this shows is that the black guy wanted the confrontation from Bruso, and when Bruso moved the the front of the bus he carried it on. He could of stayed back, claimed a moral victory and that was that. He went forward, punched a Vietnam veteran in the chest, and got his comeuppance.

If the white guy was racist, then should he not admit there as opposed to make a racial slur and then say he's not racist or predjudiced towards race. How do we know what was said before-hand, heck EBM seems shocked about the way he spoke to him.

Epic Beard Man says so in the vid Merc linked to in #6.

Epic Beard Man says he was in the clink for 14 years, too.

Meanwhile, what happened to the girl in neon Lycra? :naughty:

Sorry, maybe im tired but thats not making sense to me.

Thats my point, its unfair to raise opinions as to who is in the wrong, and to immediately point fingers when we dont know all the facts. Its very easy for the media to get their hands on stories like this and help sway opinions.

Why would a guy like him make a racist comment to his face, and then state he's not a racist?

Exactly, i know your last sentence or two (@ Faddius) were trying to mitigate a little for both sides but the first lot sounded like the usual paranoid chip on the shoulder rubbish that has gotten a lot of minorities in trouble and caused bad feeling.. i live in London, i was bought up in the biggest mixing pot of creed, race and religion.. if someone called ME a racist then i WOULD act up! just like EBM! but by your rational, that makes me a racist!! wtf!!

We DONT know what was said to start the ball rolling, but the only RACISM came from the black girl with the (Bleeding) PUNK.. who then went and stole his bag.. nice eh.. or am i stereotyping them? they are (The individuals in the video! just in case you think im talking about a whole race here!)a pillar of society arnt they :cuckoo:

At the end of the day, its great viewing.. no more.. no less.. if it had been a white punk and a black EBM then i would have posted it just the same!!

Is that uncostructive enough for you Faddius??

im off to join the Hitler youth

EPG did leave it, he stood up and walked to the front of the bus, and it could of ended, but the black guy ended up digging his way to the Amberlamps, and then he hit him, his own fault entirely.

Corrrr blimey that was some damage... Well done him...
