Wanting to know if I can set up Camera and laptop so images show straight away?

Hey All

Just curious if I am able to do this...

I want to try out setting up my camera connected to my Mac, and when I take a pic, the image shows up on the Mac straight away without it going onto the CF card and my having to load it into the Mac from there.

Is this possible...?
 
Have a look on the olympus site, in case you didn't know it's called teathered shooting. It's quite camera specific too. Minolta did it for the 7D but not the 5D and Sony have done it for the A700 but not the A100.

Not heard of any third party options either.

Google "olympus studio 1" and go to the olympus site. There's mention of tethered shooting there.
 
WOW, apparantly I have a free 30 day trial... hmmm, let's dig into the box then, thanks.
 
Olympus Studio 2 offers tethered shooting. Not tried it myself so cant offer specific advice on it though.
