Anyone got any MECABLITZ Hammer Head Flash stuff gathering DUST ? I need the Mains Power Unit to work with 45 CT1 45CL-1 45 CL-4 -- I believe the NUMBER is N21 and N20 --NOT the unit which you plug into BATTERY HOLDER to charge the Batteries -- I HAVE that one.

I was just tidying out last week and came across a whole load of Metz guns and battery packs I had stored in my attic they are all CT60 ones I think with battery packs etc and some modifiers I used to use back in my Blad days at weddings.. I will pull the box back out later today and have a rummage, I was just gonna throw them all away..but your welcome to have them for postage..will have a look and see what's all there again and get back to you..there may be some mains chargers and cables..think all the tubes are good in the guns and sure batteries did light up..will let you know..

GREAT !! Hopefully you may have what I want and make this Old Pensioner Very Happy !

I was going to say in PU, but I will say here instead, failing getting the lead someone might have an AA battery holder for the 45CL4.....

Lovely gun, but I have SB-910 and AF540FGZ that gets infrequent use,. AF500FTZ that gets even less, and the 45CL4 which probably hasn't been used for nearly 15-17 years.

I was GIVEN several of the units by Camera Club members - the latest is from a Former Lady member of Brentwood Photographic Club -- it is the 45 CL-4 -- it is missing the synch lead and the Camera Bracket but I got it to 'Struggle Into Life' by putting in a Battery pack from my 45 CT-1 bought many years ago . the batteries with the other Gift units such as 45 CL-1 and a newer 45 CT-1 are shot and will not charge any more. i HAVE an ordinary battery holder taking separate batteries.

Hi
This is what I have found so far in the attic in the house.. still to check lab and studio outbuildings at the house and also the shop/studio in town... 60CT4 flashgun with permantly(araldited on) attached modifier/softbox approx 10" 1 off...60 CT1 flashgun...3 dryfit accu batteries mecablitz 202,402,502,56-1...2 battery packs and sync cables including power cable..metz typ 703 2off chargers..metz402 charger...metz original manuals various 45ct5..60ct 1 and 2..system sca300..there is more stuff floating around probably in the attic space in the lab in my outbuildings at home and also down in my shop/studio..will have a look for this stuff over the coming days once I have been down to check on the shop..think it could be brackets and adaptors that sort of thing.. will check the other boxes and get back to you..battery packs currently on charge to see if they fire the guns ok.. 60ct1 gun fires ok just tested..

I've got a couple of 45's knocking about, haven't got the mains pack though. Somewhere I have the proper bounce board and bracked thing, flipping huge thing, and I've got the "metzmat?) the hot shoe thing that looked like a flash but has no flash tube gives a lot more setting when you plug it into a 45.
Just had a quick look and cant see them but they are here somewhere.
Be advised the early 45ct1 had a high trigger voltage, I used to get proper shocks in the wet off the camera hot shoe when the flash was plugged into the pc socket I think from memory it was a 120v maybe enough to fry a modern camera, if my memory is right the later ct1's has blue and orange marking on the power disk on the top, I think the older version had blue and white or silver (I might be wrong)

GREAT Replies ! So helpful ---- Mr Swanseamale -- YES -- my ORIGINAL 45 CT-1 bought years ago is that one with High Trigger Voltage -- I burned out the flash contacts of my Asahi Pentax MX doing so many local Newspaper Press jobs with it ! I DO have a later 45 CT-1 given to me by Arthur Paffey Staff Photographer of the Yellow Advertiser before he died and a couple more given by a Camera Club member with faulty Bounce mechanism so the Head is 'Floppy' I bought that Bounce Board with Bracket and it worked well for some time BUT the plastic attachment thing broke -- I kept the white board and can hold it over the flash head.

Ok had 1 battery pack on charge overnight and both metz guns are firing ok I assume the other batteries will be ok as they are all a similar age..will update once located other bits and bobs..

Great ! I note you have the Metz 703 Battery Charger unit - that is the one recommended for the 45 CL-4 I have with NO Charger unit. I c an USE that ! I have the 402.12 d 7v 450 mA with British 3 pin plug but also given some Metz 45 CL-1 units by a Camera Club member with GERMAN plug chargers and cannot be set to 240 V only 220 or 120 V , BUT Donor said he had used the Chargers on British 240 V all the time --- then I notice ONE German charger has the 402.12 but an 'i' , 8 V 450mA and the other has Typ 729 7v 600mA ---- A PLETHORA of DIFFERENT Battery Chargers !

So I don;t want to seem to be ungrateful BUT I do not think I can have the large 60CT unit as well as my load of 45 series Metz Flashes and I would get into trouble with the Wife if a parcel came with a large flash in it -- but any Charging units , Mains Unit and synch leads and Cables suitable for the 45 Series would be VERY WELCOME.
