I have a feller coming in for a shoot on Monday and he wants to reproduce the style of these images: IMAGES OF BECKHAM IN HIS PANTS... I've linked to the images rather than post them in case anyone considers it NSFW... it certainly put me off MY breakfast! :D

It's not really what I had in mind for 'boudoir photography' when I started doing this but, Heigh-Ho, it puts food on the table!

Well I confess I've never shot 'male glamour' and wondered if anyone has any tips? Any detailed ideas of how these were lit? The light seems quite hard to give definition to the muscles and the direction is fairly obvious. I've access to a good range of modifiers (wafer strips, Fresnel spot etc.), what would you try?

Any suggestions gratefully received so I can get off to a good start.

Here's a suggestion....if he looks like those pics of David Beckham... send him to me!! :D

HEH! I'd like to say he's 20 stone, ugly and 60 years old...:eek:


...but actually he's got more than a passing resemblance!
