Hello,
I am seriously considering professional photography. I guess majority of those who do it for living have profit from running their businesses. At the moment I am weigting up price of equipment vs how to sell photographs. Is there a section on this forum specifically dedicated to the topic of marketing photographs?
 
There are many many thousands of new entries into the Professional Photographic world.

very very few ever get their original costs back.
It is an extremely high risk start up.
But it can be done.
 
If you are an excellent Photographer and a poor business man ...you will fail.
If you are an excellent business man but a poor photographer you have a good chance.
Business skills are the Key.

There is a surplus of Excellent photographers with no business skills.
