North England Wakefield Classic Car meet 3/7/15

Yep, its that time of year again, Fleur de Lys & YTCC classic car meet.

First Friday in July, every year, starts mid afternoon till dusk in Thornes Park Wakefield, if you're a Mini...dusk is midnight...lol

Weather is looking good so taking a wild guess, we expect there to be maybe 1000 vehicles available for perusal or photo op, possibly more.

Although its marketed as "classic" cars, there will be lots of interesting commercial vehicles, armed forces, steam vehicles, American classics, Ferrari's, all sorts.

There's also a bike section, which has in the past......been enormous.

Anyway, its a nice evening in the park and costs nothing, all you have to do is go..

I'll 2'nd that, it's a great evening .......and without realising it was this Friday, I'm off to the Severn barbel fishing (again)... .....not sure whether to be excited about the fishing........or gutted I'm missing this
