I have just finished reading the article in Digital Camera about the 3 guys and their experiences covering a staged wedding.

From the article, I have taken a number of good ideas including leaving the gear in the car and just taking 2 bodies each fitted with different lenses & Flash guns etc. What I have a dilemma with is last year I invested in a smart Black trouser suit which does not crease and is lightweight. I wore it for both weddings I shot last year and plan to wear again for the 2 booked this year.
Unfortunately there are no pockets anywhere on the suit and I canno't afford to buy another one. The magazine article refers to the 'Men' photographers to put empty CF cards in trouser pockets and full ones in jacket pocket and fill other pockets with spare batteries etc. Ummmm! great idea if you have pockets! Now I could wear a Khaki vest full of pockets which will draw attention to myself at the weddings  or something else???

This is where I hope you peeps can help suggest something. I was thinking of a waist belt or the bum bags that were popular at one time. I could wear it underneath the jacket. I have looked on the tinternet but can't find anything from camera bag manufacturers. Don't know where else to look:shrug:

Any ideas please?

The bum bag sounds like a plan to me. You'r e there to do a job so I don't see why you should worry unduly about the bag being under your suit. I have a black leather one (ooer) which isn't unsightly and I still press into service now and again.

Thanks Cedric. I think I have found something suitable on fleabay which is a small Bum-Bag/waist belt and is leather, and only £5.95. That'll do. I just needed a sounding board for ideas. Cheers:thumbs:
