Some very angry spectators at Waddington this morning.. :eek:

People from all over Europe arriving for Sundays airshow only to be met by officials telling them that the show is cancelled due to the weather.. :thumbsdown:

Bloody hell, that has to be a first!

Dunno what their problem is, weather is fine today...
 
Thats just ridiculous ! The weather forecast doesn't look any worse today than they predicted it was going to be yesterday - surely they could have let people know yesterday or even friday. :annoyed:
If I'd have been going, I'd be mad too :bang:

Wonder if its got anything to do with the recent terrorist threats :thinking:

At the end of the day it has been cencelled with the safety of the public in mind. If the show had gone on and something happened everyone would say it should of been cancelled in the first place.

As a spectator you always take the risk of this happening. Its part of the whole airshow thing.

I wouldnt think it has been cancelled due to the recent terror attacks. Thats just being paranoid.

Good job we decided to get tickets to RIAT then! Waddington was the other option but luckily we plumped for the one with more planes. :)
 
Glad I got detached to Brampton last month or I would have been there having to deal with all the very disappointed peeps!
 
I drove past Waddington on Friday evening and the whole area around there was very waterlogged. Drove back on Saturday night and there was raining really heavily pretty much all the way back from the Humber Bridge.
