If you're running 10.5 - 10.7 there's a driver on their site. If you're running 10.8 then there's a note saying you can install the latest driver but it hasn't been tested by Wacom with an Intuos 2. They seem to think it will work but it's no longer a supported tablet.

If you're before 10.5 (i.e. you're on a PowerPC) then it probably won't work.
 
Thank you Jonathan I am running 10.7 maybe I will look for a Intuos 3 I will see

Really ken to try one but don't want to buy an expensive model as I may not be happy using it.

Hi, Try the Wacom Bamboo Pen & Touch Graphics Tablet first to see how you get on, you can buy new for £70 on Amazon UK Manufacturer refurbished on Ebay UK for £50.
I started with this then after a year or so upgraded.
