Undecided VULCAN BOMBER LAST FLIGHT UK

Slightly deceiving headline, but nice helpful links to the flightline for people not in the know. I follow it on twitter so get all relevant information direct, but nice of someone bit more techno-savvy to put info out there for others. Thanks Tony.
Such a pity that the spiritual home of the Vulcan,R.A.F.Waddington is not having an airshow in its final year of flight.:(

Yes, it's doing Manchester Barton airfield and Stockport Woodford on Saturday where it was built - wonder how low / high it's going to be on the trips between the various places, thinking of trying out my local hills where I know it's passing over, but not sure if it's going to be low enough ???

The cloud is pretty low in Doncaster right now.

I never even knew it was flying but it went straight over me the other day at not a very great height (I live near wellsbourne). Amazing noise!

Went to RAF Hendon to see this flight, arrived in pouring rain but the car park was full of hopeful Vulcan watchers.

I took my 5 year old for a look round the museum and at 13.50 went outside to see broken cloud and a bit of blue sky.

I was so intent on encouraging my son to try to get some pictures with his little point and shoot that I totally forgot to have any kind of useful set up on my 5D

We were standing by the Spitfire/Hurricane display in the car park and the Vulcan approached exactly between / framed by the two aircraft, it would have made a great picture if the light hadn't been so flat and grey.

There were lots of photographers there, I wonder if any TP members were there and would care to share their photographs.

These are the pictures my son managed.

Looking forward to seeing this at Fairford RIAT for the last time this year - saw it a couple of years ago and loved the sound it made as they wound up the engines at the start of the runway - nothing like it:)
Just a shame to see its going to be finally grounded in September.

Just noticed the BBMF Lancaster has pulled out of RIAT:(

Hoping to see it at Eastbourne Airbourne and Shoreham airshows.

Vulcan was at Fairford this afternoon, cracking display shame we wont ever see it again after September

Yes, especially after so many people (including me) put up money to get it flying. Even the web site in vulcan to the sky, maybe they should change it to vulcan to the shed?
