Next weekend sees the Vintage Sports Car Club's event at Wiscombe Park near Honiton. Loads of very interesting machinery going up the hill, probably including the Napier Bentley, a W12 aero engined 8 litre chassis that has to be heard to be believed! Plenty of smaller stuff too, from little 500cc specials running on nitro (methanol rather than glycerine!) up through Bugattis and more standard Bentleys to the unique aero monsters.
Not sure what I'll be wearing but I'll have a D800 slung round my neck on a TP OpTech strap and will be happy to chat for a while if collared!
If anyone needs to persuade OHs to come along, it's a beautiful setting with the hill running up through shady woodland. Pretty sure there'll be loads of bluebells etc, not to mention the perfume of Castrol R!
