Ive have use of a Nikon 70-200 vr lens for getting some candid shots for a friend (lovely lens, I have used one before) I have a Monopod which again I have used before on other lenses when needed. This got me thinking can you use a Monopod with the vr turned on for super steadiness if the light was low, As I know that you turn it off for tripod use (if it's one or the other I'd go vr as it's more convenient)
