VivaVida's 52 2011 week 1 - Accomodation!

Lovely concept. Would have been tempted to get down even lower so that you could see under the bird to give it more perspective.

Awesome natural (the best kind) lighting as well :)
 
I'd like to see the shadows lifted a little to see the chicks slightly clearer but otherwise it's a lovely shot :thumbs:
 
Dont you just hate it when wildlife rushes you around like that lol
 
Great idea, I would if loved to photograph a kangaroo with a baby in his pouch for this week.

Unfortunately you don't really see them in Birmingham..

That is a lovely shot, shame you can't see the ducklings so clearly. I think I prefer the 2nd one you posted

Hiya,

Good interpretation of the theme, well done.

I like the first image, for the comfort of the accommodation it portrays, although, as already stated, would have been better if the ducklings were more visible. I think the colour suits the image, but just a bit too heavy for me.

Out of the two I prefer the edited second pic, I like the way the ducklings are nestling next to the parent.

Look forward to seeing your next 51 pics.

if I was to nit-pick, the only slight thing going against it (for me) is everything is too central. Apart from that....brilliant! :)

I had the same thought jamin100 ,went through my old pic's & found one of an Albino wallaby with a baby peeking out of her pouch & got all excited thinking I'd use it....then realised the picture has to be taken this week:bang: Think I took it at West Midlands Safari Park - shouldn't be too far from you ?
