Well I'm going to be in the UK very soon for a few days.

Will have some time free between sunday afternoon 29th July and tuesday evening 31st July to meet up with anyone who fancies a shoot somewhere.

I'll have my Canon AV-1 film camera with me but would be delighted to meet up with anyone with film or digital.

I'll be staying in Horbury (West Yorkshire) and will be solely reliant on public transport ( not something I like very much tbh!) but if anyone wishes to meet or can suggest some areas worth a visit for photographing ..........any topic really from street to sculptures....will be nice just to get out and shoot in a different country...rain is no issue to me either so long as we have a brolly!!

I promise to speak english too unless you wish for a french lesson of course! lol

I could do with brushing up on my French, got quite good at it at one point ;)

There are quite a few togs on here from the Wakefield area, so i am sure someone will be availble to join you. As for locations, you are only a few miles away from the Yorkshire Sculpture park, not my sort of thing, but some amazing sculptures and a great setting.

Yes the sculpture park sounds a possibilty ..I have visited before but many moons ago.

depends on other togs, transport etc etc but definetly an idea

Wakefield area is home to some of our family, hence why we are there for just a few days on this occasion......maybe back for a longer period next year as got a wedding to attend!

I won't have suitable gear with me to capture them properly but IIRC there used to be grey squirells rummaging in the bins at Newmillerdam!! lol

I'll take a look at the other suggestions when i get a minute ...thanks for those.....Will be nice to actually be able to attend a TP meet even if it's only one or two members......i'm sure something will come off....appologies that I haven't been able to give more notice!
 
I've got a meet arranged with Rob on tuesday in Leeds ......I don't mind if anyone else wishes to join us and I'm sure Rob won't mind either.

I will have internet access upto tomorrow (saturday) evening but if anyone does wish to join us then perhaps drop Rob a line for more details.

We have no set theme planeed, just a stroll through the city and see what we come across i guess.
 
Had a cool day tuesday shooting street / architecture around Leeds.

Many thanks Rob, I thoroughly enjoyed your company....and the Chip Butty.....only Yorkshire make em like that!! lol

Hope to get busy deving this weekend and post some results during the coming week!
 
Just devd one of the four films shot in the UK......Pretty much all come out ok by the looks of it.......reckon there will be a few shots worthy of posting just as soon as i get em scanned.
