If you have Photoshop, “ZOOMIFY” allows you to create a zoom and pan image from any picture.
It works well with large stitched together - high resolution panoramas.
You will find “ZOOMIFY” under FILE-EXPORT.

So how do you get the roof and the floor in?

I think you'll just have to take lots and lots and lots of images while remaining in the same spot, turning your hip, rather than moving (you'll need a good back!) as for the floor, probably would have to clone out the feet, theres no way of floating in mid air, unless you've got a magic carpet?

It's not free - no decent VT s/w is because it's hard to do and there's a lot of money in virtual tours.

Google up zenith and nadir points. Short version: roof easy, floor hard.
