Viewing the screen on back of Nikon D700

Hi, I watched a video of a photog taking pics in bright sunlight, as you know it can be difficult to see the screen afterwards as the Sun is too bright. He had a small device around his neck which he quickly popped over the screen to block out the Sunlight so he could view the pic. It is hard to describe it, but a small plastic viewer is what I would call it I suppose. Does anyone know what this is or what it is called as I cannot find one anywhere especially when I don't know what it is called !!!
