Viewing images in Bridge

I have a question for one of you Adobe guru's in relation to viewing images on my PC.

I use Bridge for my previewing and sorting of images but the images always look almost "out of focus" or soft until I view them at 100% resolution at which point they are normally lovely and sharp (most of the time lol!). This can make for disappointment when viewing the photos for the first time.

Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?

Bridge previews do look soft and found it to be a bit of a pain when sorting images TBH, moved to photomechanic for culling and rating just for this reason.

My previews look fine, and I don't remember changing anything. :shrug:

I have it set to 'Keep 100% preview in Cache' in the Preferences under Cache.

Have you changed any preferences? :shrug:
