Viewfinder focus issue

Hi there,

I lent my EOS 3 and 50mm 1.4 to a friend for a wedding he was shooting last week. On returning it a few days ago, he said that the viewfinder is out of focus very slightly.. I've never noticed this before, but on having a look, yeah, he's right. The camera is confirming focus on sections which are not quite in focus. Its not something that transfers to the prints and negatives, as they are as sharp as they should be, and all of my lenses have the same problem on the EOS 3. They're all fine on my other cameras, but then again, my other cameras have diopters.

Just wondering if there's something that can be done about it?

Cheers,
Martin

Does it have a diopter adjust? (a small wheel next to the view finder) if so twiddle it a bit until the view finder is in focus again (it is a tool so you don't have to wear glasses when you take pictures if your eyes are not too out of whack)

:agree:

As far as i can remember there is no diopter adjustment on the Eos 3 and you have to use an eyepiece to do it like these

I should really know this as i have a 3 upstairs...oops

Hehe.. I know what a diopter is. There's not one on the EOS 3, annoyingly.

Edit: Ah, right. Drop in eyepieces. Annoying. How do I find out which one I'll need?
