Yes
a colleague of mine needs to show this video http://www.ntwelcome.org.uk/ at a site where there is no internet access

any thoughts on how it can either be converted to a video file or otherwise downloaded as a local copy.

(my employer owns the copyright so that isnt an issue)

Which video. There isn't one on the front page and the ones on the linked through page appear to be flash videos...

The values one of the four videos on the page that comes up when you hit start - which are as you rightly note flash not html - the colleague concerned isnt the most tech savvy and i was going from her description - title editted

Do you have FTP access to the site? That would be the simplest.

What is he hoping to achieve?

He could do a screen recording of him browsing the site.

I downloaded it using Chrome and an extension called FVD video downloader, I can play it using a programme called MplayerX or can convert it to other formats using Handbrake, I'm sure there are other options available, what have you tried?
