Video camera with optical zoom under £200..

My daughter has a birthday coming and wants a camcorder.
I want it to have an optical zoom and be under £200.
I also need your expert help as I've no knowledge or experience - please !
Small, simple, light, but I expect all are much the same at this sort of price.
I've got a few spare microSD cards if that helps !

This is the sort of thing and shape, a flippy screen is one of her requirements.. One of mine is that it's in stock !

Most camcorders take SD cards not micro cards. At the moment due to covid most of the main manufactures have cut down on production so there is a lack in the supply chain. I am waiting for a Panasonic camcorder myself and got no idea when it will become available even though pre ordered and paid for.
All I can and will say is I had a panasonic camcorder for about 10 years until wear and tear so did a P/X. Bought a Sony camcorder didn't like it so only had for about 6 months so gone back tp Panasonic, but that is my personal choice

Forgot to mention make sure it records in PAL for the UK version not NTSC the USA version

I've been looking for a similar thing but a slightly higher budget but struggling to find anything in stock.
This fits your budget Amazon but its out of stock!

Finding anything in stock is THE big problem isn't it!
I looked at all the unknown name stuff on Amazon, saw a Sony CX 240 that was actually available so have gone with that.
I'd not heard of Ask Outlets before and it was impossible to get through to them on the phone but fingers crossed it arrives in time.
