Video and Flourescent strip lights

Has anyone done any videoing under strip lights - do you get any strange lighting effects?

I have some time back, when I played it back there was a colour cast. You can set the White Balance to phlorescent or to custom Whit Balance and shoot a reference card to set the camera's white reference point.

But all that can do is to remove the green cast, it can't add the magenta, which is missing from these discontinuous spectrum light sources. For that, you need to measure the colour temp and add a magenta gel sleeve over each light
