I'm new... at everything. Photography and this forum.
I thought there is no better way for someone like me who only just got hos first DSLR to improve than to do a 365
I'm already on day 11 so I guess I'll share my progress so far and continue..
Day 10 got deleted by accident and I would reupload it but it would mess up the whole order on Flickr.
1/365 - One
So, I've decided to take on the mammoth task that is a 365 Project. I only started photography this week so I thought what a better way to improve than to force myself to shoot something creative everyday.
Comments & Criticisms always welcome. =]
2/365 - Terrible Picture
Sunrise through a window.
This is bad. I know. But It's interesting for me.
I bought my camera just under a week ago and the weather had been so terrible I hadn't seen anything even close to a proper sunrise or sunset..
So I woke up this morning and looked outside my window and saw this. I rushed to my camera and just clicked the shutter button. This disappeared less than 5 seconds later.
So yes, this is the first sunrise image I have ever captured.
3/365 - Focus Pocus
One thing I've learnt is that nobody is ever always focused. We gain focus, we loose focus, we gain confidence we loose confidence, we gain motivation we loose motivation. It's inevitable, just another flaw in the plethora of imperfections we call our lives.
However, what is important is finding that thing that brings you right back to the reason you're doing whatever it is you do. Once you find that thing, never let it go.
4/365 Light Snack?
Seriously lacking in creativity right now and it's making me quite depressed.
5/365 - Earth For Sale. Any Buyers?
Don't you think It's fallacious that we buy and sell what we had no hand in creating?
Anyway, I found the sign on the floor and walked past it before this idea hit me..
I got some odd looks while picking it up and setting it up against the tree but I think one guy got it because he gave me this wide approving smile and wink as he looked at the placard against the tree..
Seems I'm getting used to the attention an SLR creates... I seem to crave it now.
6/365 - The end is Nigh! Hurry, before It's too late!!
Another sign, just like yesterday. It's a mock religious advertising campaign by LA Fitness. I have to say, it did make me chuckle a little bit... Seems my daily commute to University is more interesting that I thought.
I'm not entirely happy with the deep purple hue but It's all a work in progress.
