Very nice morris traveler

There used to be a Morris Minor on the edge of Dartmoor like that. Built on a modified Range Rover chassis (well, the Dartmoor one was!)

I always wanted a traveler, or a Morris Minor. Ended up with an Austin 1100.

One of my girl friends in the 1960s had the use of her mother's Minor convertible. Very pleasant for tootling around North London in the 1960s. :naughty:

My first car was a moggy, it was older than me :ROFLMAO:

My uncle Tommy had one in the 70's.
Me and my sister called it the flintstones car because you could see the road through the holes in the floor....

Got stuck in an underground car park when one snapped a king pin reversing out of a space. No room to get past it on either side. 4 of us ended up lifting the front end and wrestling it back into the parking bay.

I love the sound of a Morris Minor, they have a very distinct sound.

My brother bought his first car, a Minor in the early 70's, and oh boy was it ropey. One of his mates put his foot through the rear floorpan.......a 1 foot square piece of perforated zinc and a very liberal pasting with Isopon fixed that and was possibly the strongest part of the car after that fix  ;)

PS I still remember the number plate.......and that he went on a trip to Cornwall without a problem!
