Made this today in 10 minuites.

Materials Used
  • 1 Box
  • 1 Sheet of shiney paper
  • Tissue paper
  • Sello-tape
  • Scissors

Like I said this was a very very quick build and test. There are a few things I think could improve but all C&C very welcome :)

what you see is how the shot was taken. The speedlight was in slave mode, used the on camera flash at -2 compensation just to trigger the speedlight off. it seems to work :)
 
Ha ha should see some of my set ups, last one I did was for the love apple shot, it was a cardboard box cut in half, with a thin plank of wood on top to form a bridge to suspend the apple with cotton, white paper, a retangular angle desk light with a daylight bulb in it, but it worked the image looks great well as i wanted it to Clicky linky wished Id have took a shot of the set up it was rough as owt, did the job
 
Thats very cool love the idea, just looking though your flickr and added to my buddy list. the pencil/zip shot is very clever
