I have a Velbon Ultra Rexi L as my travel tripod. On holiday last month I lost half the centre column on a beach somewhere.

So, I phoned Velbon (Intro 2020) to see if they could sell me a replacement column. The chap I spoke to wasn't sure if it was available as a spare part but asked me to send an email to their service department with my full contact details and over the next week or so someone would be in contact.

That was about 4 working days ago so I was going to give it another couple of days before contacting them again. However, this morning the spare part turned up! No charge, no mucking about, posted 1st class.

Quality CS & a great product. I'd have no hesitation buying from them or indeed recommending them.

By my calculations I'd only need about 9 more emails to their service dept to get myself enough parts to make me another tripod............

I had a similiar outcome with Giotto when the fixings corroded because I was using the tripod on the beach frequently and I asked them how to clean things they sent me new parts without being asked

I then bought a tripod for the beach
