Does anyone use the Valoi products? I have the holder for 120 and like it. I’m looking at the 35mm holder but I’m considering getting the light that comes with it, the Cinestill Cs-Lite. Currently I just use my phone with a white background and a holder made for a plustek scanner I got cheaply on eBay. Would there be any advantage to getting the Cinestill light? It does make a seal around the edge of the film holder, supposedly stopping any light leaking. I could also use it with the 120 holder but it doubles the cost from £35 to £67

Never used it; their kit does look good quality but seems to be horrendously expensive! An Epson V850 could soon look cheap compared to all the bits and bobs you'd need to do the same thing with your digicam!

I had an Epson a long time ago, it was just the V550 but it did a pretty bad job of 35mm. I already have a copy stand and a macro lens so another £60 wouldnt be the end of the world. Id only buy the mask and light at £67. The rest of their stuff is too expensive. The film advance roller seems a bit OTT to me.
