I just got back from watching Valkyrie and I enjoyed it, the film plays more like a docudrama in the vein of conspiracy http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0266425/ than a hollywood blockbuster, no lavish action scenes to speak of but good acting and an interesting story with a lot of familiar faces
One piece of advice I would give is try and go as late as possible, the afternoon showing was ruined for me by groups of teenagers who wanted to see a war film, when there was a plot and dialogue but no bombs and machine guns they soon lost interest and reverted to type, talking, farting and generally ******* it up for the rest of the audience.
Then they all stood there looking at the floor when I ********* them as I left
I would imagine this scenario panning out over most of the UK when they realise it's not saving private ryan or Independance day
