UV Filter

i was wondering if you can keep a UV filter on your camera lens at all times or if you need to remove it when not taking picturs outdoors?

Yes you can keep it on at all times - saves screwing/unscrewing the damm things....

also by keeping them on the protect your lens. much easier to replace a scratched uv filter than a scratched lens

Although there is an increased issue with flare. Especially with cheapo filters.

I'd recommend you remove it when you are taking pictures - indoors or out.
