Using your lightsphere to set your white balance.

If you need to set an accurate white balance in a hurry take the cloud dome off of the lightsphere and place it over your lens in manual focus to blur the image

Point it at the light source and take a photo then use that image to set a custom white balance. Try it and see for yourself.

For the real DIYers out there that use a Tupperware tub or even a plastic milk bottle as their diffuser then these will work just as well.

Another tip is to use liveview and scroll through the white balances and see which looks best.
