Hi all

I've messed about with a few things... including photoshop elements "save for web" function... but really a bit lost as to the best way..

I like to keep my PP simple and have tryed to just stick to using canons DPP... I just wish it had a rotate function to straighten horizons... and then for me it would do... as I dont really want to take my PP any further than tweeking my original image. I like my photography out the camera really...

Anyway I digress...

Can someone let me know the best way to batch process for the web using DPP... What settings do you adopt to get images suitable for internet upload to flickr... where I like to put my images for others to see.

I've tryed many settings... never really wrote much down... and I think the last time I done it I did use DPP... but before always used photoshop which took ages as I done it file by file... So im back ready to do it again and rather than reinvent the wheel messing with settings etc... could someone simply advise.

Help greatly appreciated as always,

Mark

My approach would be to select the files I want to convert/process from the main folder view - just hit CTRL-A for all of them and then press CTL-B to open the Batch processing dialogue. Here's what my dialogue looks like for a couple of files to be output at 800x533....

There really is very little to it.

Thanks mate... I'm sure it was you that suggested this to me before... I just really struggle with the computer side of things when it comes to photography... will write this down in my wee notebook and have it for the future... I've found keeping a wee notebook in my gadget back a great wee tool for loads of wee notes to self!

Thanks again...
