Hi everyone, I am slowly building up the bits I need for a basic home studio, and have a question regarding a Tripod.

I already have a studio for my other love, music production, and upon looking at camera tripod prices, was wondering if anyone has any experience using a Microphone stand Tripod with an adapter to use as a temporary tripod for home use? They are all good quality, and work well holding heavier Microphones than my Nikon D3500.

I was just wondering before I do this, if there is any reason this is NOT a good idea, if so why to avoid it, and if anyone knows of a website similar to studio spares, which is a large company that sell equipment to many professional studios, but also individuals.

The benefit with them is they offer their own range of goods branded with their own name, which is a fraction of the price of a big brand accessories, but the quality often surpasses goods costing 4-5 times as much money.

Thank you all for your help.
