Why do manuals that come with things never tell you much except where to download the full version :banghead:
What about those that don't have a PC or internet access ?
Why do they never answer the one thing you really want to know, so luckily you have the internet and can do a search
because if you can't find the answer in a downloaded manual then you can bet someone else has had the same problem ;)
and yes I was right they had (y)

What kind of thing?

How to swap between digital and analogue

Is there a full version of this question available for download?

Sorry I couldn't resist. :)

PMSL I did wonder whether anyone would ask ;)
Ok so got a new TV, I need to be able to get one analogue channel and it found it
when it tuned in , but I couldn't find anything to tell me how to find it :banghead:
But I do now know :D
Be far easier if they put things in the manuals

Partly down to cost - cheaper to have a digital download than print things out. I remember when we got our first computer in the mid-90s and we had instruction manuals for everything eg keyboard, mouse, monitor etc. Then there was the included software and sometimes the manuals had multiple languages so they were thick. Back then, we kept all the manuals and boxes. Took up lots of room. A digital version is fantastic most of the time.

I found a box full of manuals and discs the other day, all from a single computer bought back around 2002, several trees were very inconvenienced in the making of them

The Sun Microsystems SPARC server I use to include with our software came with their own bookcase for all the manuals. It was awkward as the actual server was in the small box

But yes, I do miss manuals.
